Terms of service

Last updated 24 October 2026

1. Who and what

dialpip is provided by Fluvia FZC, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, UAE (“we”). It answers phone calls on behalf of a restaurant (“you”) using an automated assistant and records the outcome. These terms apply to the website and the service, together with any order form you sign. By using dialpip you accept them.

2. An automated assistant

  • dialpip is an automated system. It can mishear, misunderstand or answer incorrectly, and calls can fail or drop because of the phone network, your line or our providers.
  • It works only from the information you give us. You are responsible for keeping your menu, prices, hours, policies and other details complete and correct in your portal.
  • Bookings, orders and messages it takes are requests from guests. You must review and confirm them, and contact the guest where needed. We do not guarantee that any booking, order or message is captured or delivered.
  • It does not give, and must not be relied on for, allergy, medical, legal or safety advice, and it is not an emergency service.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Your phone line, its forwarding and its charges are yours. We are not responsible for calls that never reach us.
  • You are responsible for telling your guests, where the law requires it, that calls are answered by an automated assistant and written down, and for having a lawful basis to do so.
  • You use dialpip only for your own restaurant and in line with the law, and you do not use it for marketing calls or unsolicited messages.
  • You keep your portal login safe and are responsible for activity on your account.
  • You will not copy, resell, reverse engineer, overload or interfere with the service, or use it to build a competing product.

4. Fees and payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance; usage above the included minutes is billed the following month. Fees exclude VAT and are not refundable. If an invoice is unpaid 14 days after its due date we may suspend the service until it is paid. We may change prices with 30 days' notice.

5. Data

For guest calls you are the controller of the personal data and we process it on your instructions to provide the service, using carefully chosen providers (for example hosting, telephony, speech and payment providers), some outside the UAE. We protect it as described on our security page and delete transcripts after a limited period. You may ask for an export of your data while your subscription is active and for 30 days after it ends. Details are in our privacy notice and, where agreed, a data processing addendum.

6. Ownership

You keep ownership of your restaurant's information and your guests' data. We keep all rights in dialpip, its software, prompts, designs and know-how, and in improvements we make, including those based on your feedback.

7. No warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose, and we exclude all implied terms.

8. Limits on our liability

  • We are not liable for lost revenue, profit, bookings, orders, guests, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, however caused.
  • We are not liable for anything said or done by the automated assistant on your behalf beyond our obligation to provide the service with reasonable care, or for failures of your phone line, your provider, or third-party services.
  • Our total liability for all claims in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the first claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.

9. Your indemnity

You will compensate us for claims, fines and costs arising from your information (including menu, prices and allergens), your use of the service, your guests' claims about your restaurant, or your breach of these terms or of the law.

10. Ending the service

Either side can end a subscription at the end of a billing month with notice in the portal or by email. We may suspend or end the service immediately if you breach these terms or misuse it. Fees already invoiced remain payable.

11. General

We may update these terms; the version on this page applies from the date shown, and continued use means acceptance. If a part is unenforceable the rest still applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and disputes go to the courts of Sharjah. Contact us through the contact form or your portal.
